Dear ADLM Member:
The Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) is now accepting nominations for the 2027 elections.
We invite you to help shape ADLM's future by nominating qualified colleagues for leadership positions that begin August 1, 2027.
The following positions will be elected by the membership:
- President-Elect (one position)
- Board of Directors (two positions)
- Nominating Committee (three positions)
All positions carry a three-year term beginning August 1, 2027, and ending July 31, 2030.
Why nominate a colleague?
ADLM seeks leaders who are committed to serving members, strengthening the association, and helping guide the future of laboratory medicine. Strong candidates have demonstrated leadership, professional achievement, and a commitment to service within ADLM and the profession. Professional members inside and outside the United States are eligible for a nomination.
Position overviews
President-Elect: The president-elect serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee and then progresses to President and Immediate Past President. This leadership pathway requires a multi-year commitment and shapes ADLM's strategic direction.
Board of Directors: Board members serve 3-year terms and provide strategic oversight and governance for the association. Board members participate in three in-person board meetings each year, as well as virtual meetings as needed.
ADLM Nominating Committee: The committee identifies and selects candidates for future ADLM leadership positions, helping maintain a strong leadership pipeline. Committee members participate in several virtual meetings throughout the nomination cycle.

How to submit a nomination
Nominations will be accepted from September 1 through October 16, 2026, and may be submitted using the online ADLM Nomination Form.
Written nominations identifying the position sought by the nominee may also be submitted to Amy Pyle-Eilola, Chair of the Nominating Committee, at governance@myadlm.org.
Important deadline
All nominations must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on October 16, 2026.
The 2026-2027 Nominating Committee will review all nominations and develop a slate of candidates for election by the membership in May 2027.
